The Blackhawks will once again host a touring Canadian team.

The Scew N’ Bolt arrive in Scotland on Thursday 17th and will play the Blackhawks on Sunday 20th January at the Galleon Leisure Centre in Kilmarnock, face of at 17:30.

Screw N’ Bolt are a Doctor’s hockey team from the University of Calgary. Most are Orthopaedic Surgeons but also have some anaesthetists to carry sticks and water bottles. They have been playing together since 2005 and have toured in 17 different countries over the years.

They have no famous players but a handful of the guys have played professionally in the past and in Canadian and American University leagues.

They all love the game but also enjoy more than anything the cameraderie of the tour and meeting great people all over the world.

They look forward to playing the Blackhawks and going for a few pints afterwards!

Scew N’ Bolt will also play Kilmarnock Thunder (SNL) on Saturday 19th, face off at 17:30 (played to recreational rules) and the Warriors on Sunday 20th, face off at 13:15, both games will also be played at the Galleon Centre in Kilmarnock.
